Contact Us

We are situated on the south edge of the city centre, opposite Castle Rock, on one of the main routes into and out of the city. Castle Boulevard is the A6005, leading from the Broadmarsh shopping centre towards Beeston and the M1 motorway. We are easy to find; the surgery has a grey and white facade, with our logo clearly visible on the windows. If you do get lost just follow the signs for Nottingham Castle!

Parking...

As in all city centres, parking is not always easy, especially at peak times. There is Pay & Display parking available on Castle Boulevard, and opposite the practice on Peveril Drive. Remember that we run surgeries throughout the day, and on Saturday mornings, when parking is much easier! In addition there is a multi-storey car park and a retail park with lots of parking within walking distance. If in doubt, the reception staff can advise on the best places to park.

In order to prevent the issuing of a Penalty Charge Notice for an expired parking ticket, please ensure that you have allowed enough time on your ticket. Appointments can sometimes take longer than usual for a number of reasons, so please ensure you allow extra time on your parking ticket.

Nottingham City Council has further information about parking in the city, available on their website:

If you have been issued with a Penalty Charge Notice, please be aware that parking attendants have no authority to cancel them.

There is no obligation on the City Council to allow any time for motorists to obtain change for Pay & Display machines. The motorist should arrive equipped with change for the machines if he / she intends to park in these spaces. In practice the Parking Attendants will carry out observations for 5 minutes before issuing a Penalty Charge Notice. However, once the notice has been issued, it will not be cancelled in circumstances where the motorist has gone to obtain change and this has taken longer than the observation period.

It is the responsibility of the motorist to buy enough time to cover the duration of the parking time required, allowing for any possible over running of appointments.

Holders of DISABLED PARKING PERMITS can now park in on-street pay & display bays FREE OF CHARGE and WITHOUT TIME LIMIT as long as you correctly display your badge (so that the expiry date is visible).

Also be aware that...

Parking is NOT PERMITTED on the same side of Castle Boulevard as the practice between 4pm and 6pm. If you are parked during these times you will either receive a Penalty Charge Notice, or have your vehicle towed away.

Pay & Display parking fees are currently set at the following rates (as of 1st April 2006); 30 minutes = 60p; 60 minutes = £1.20; 90 minutes = £1.80; 120 minutes = £2.40; maximum stay is 2 hours, with no return within 1 hour.

Taxi's...

Many of our clients come by taxi, and we find that most local taxi firms are happy to carry well-behaved dogs and cats in secure baskets; we hold a list of helpful taxi companies at the practice, and are happy to arrange a taxi for returning home after a consultation.
