Providing Pro Active Veterinary Care For Your Pet

Safe for you - safe for us...!
Castle Veterinary Centre continnues to offers veterinary advice & care for pets within an environment that is safe for clients, their animals & our staff.
Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic we have been very grateful to the vast majority of clients who have complied with protocols designed to keep both them & our staff safe & so has enabled us to continue to look after the health & welfare of our patients.
After consultation with members of the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS), we will continue to ask clients to wear masks / face coverings & observe social distancing guidelines whilst on the premises - within the Terms & Conditions of our services.
We understand that some people are medically exempt from wearing masks, & so will happily conduct consultations outside, offering the canopy of door 63 for shelter & privacy if required.
For those of us able to protect ourselves & each other by mask wearing, please ensure that the mask is worn correctly over the mouth & nose at all times. If you do not have a mask we will provide one free of charge. These should be worn with the coloured side outermost, & have an inbuilt metal clip which should be gently moulded to the bridge of the nose to help keep it in place.
Our policies will be reviewed on a regular basis according to the risks & levels of Covid-19 infection within the community.
PLEASE NOTE: During the Covid19 pandemic we will NOT be asking clients to sign our Terms & Conditions & GDPR Consent forms.
Booking an appointment / consultation with us will confirm your consent & acceptance of Castle Veterinary Centre's Terms & Conditions & GDPR (click for each document)
Repeat prescriptions over the Christmas & New Year period
Castle Veterinary Centre wishes all clients & their pets a happy & safe Christmas. Thank you all for your on going understanding & support of the changes we have had to adopt during the Covid pandemic. We are proud of the way our fantastic team has worked hard to continue to offer veterinary care: keeping everyone safe while allowing access to the practice. It is with everyone’s on-going safety in mind that we are reducing our opening hours for routine consultations & medicine collections between Christmas & New Year - emergency care & advice will be available 24 hours a day as usual.
Please ensure that you will have enough prescription medication / prescription food to last throughout the Christmas & New Year period so that your pet has a good Christmas too!
