Castle Veterinary Centre continues to offer veterinary advice & care for pets within an environment that is safe for clients, their animals & our staff. Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic we have been very grateful to the vast majority of clients who have complied with protocols designed to keep both them & our staff safe & so has enabled us to continue to look after the health & welfare of our patients.
We are now welcoming clients back into consulting rooms, however, after consultation with members of the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS), we will continue to ask clients to wear masks / face coverings & observe social distancing guidelines whilst on the premises - within the Terms & Conditions of our services.
We understand that some people are medically exempt from wearing masks, & so will happily conduct consultations outside, offering the canopy of door 63 for shelter & privacy if required.
For those of us able to protect ourselves & each other by mask wearing, please ensure that the mask is worn correctly over the mouth & nose at all times. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one free of charge. These should be worn with the coloured side outermost & have an inbuilt metal clip which should be gently moulded to the bridge of the nose to help keep it in place. Our policies will be reviewed on a regular basis according to the risks & levels of Covid-19 infection within the community.

FESTIVE SEASON SERVICE
Please be aware that Castle Veterinary Centre will be operating an ‘Emergency Only’ service from
12pm on Saturday 24th December until 8.30am on Thursday 29th December.
Similarly, there will be ‘Emergency Only’ cover only operating from 12pm on Saturday 31st December
through to 8am on Tuesday 3rd January, when normal service will resume.
In the event of an ‘Out Of Hours’ emergency throughout the Christmas & New Year period,

& your call will automatically be diverted to VetsNow who will give you further advice.
Castle Veterinary Centre Ltd works with VetsNow for all of our 'out of hours' emergencies.
VetsNow provide our clients with a dedicated emergency clinic within the city within easy reach of the practice, working within the new purpose built PDSA Centre at 581 Radford Road, Nottingham, NG7 7EB

PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD
To avoid any inconvenience to clients requiring repeat prescriptions, anyone collecting medicines between
23rd November & 10th December will be offered a 6 week supply.
