Castle Veterinary Centre continues to offer veterinary advice & care for pets within an environment that is safe for clients, their animals & our staff. ​Post Covid, we no longer require clients to wear face masks on our premises. However, if you would prefer staff to wear a mask during your consultation please let us know at reception on arrival.

If you are suffering from any potentially contagious respiratory infection we would kindly ask that you wear a mask for the safety of everyone - one can be provided free of charge if required.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD

​Please ensure that you will have enough prescription medication or prescription food to last throughout the Christmas & New Year period so that your pet has a good Christmas too!
​
Due to our supplier’s Christmas delivery schedule, any prescriptions required over the Christmas & New Year period must be ordered by 4pm on Wednesday 18th December, & collected no later than 4pm on Monday 23rd December.
However, patients that are prescribed Tralieve or Soliphen will need to order by 11th December at the latest.

CHRISTMAS DAY & BOXING DAY - CLOSED
FRIDAY 27th December - 9am to 11am.
SATURDAY 28th December and MONDAY 30th December - Normal hours
NEW YEARS EVE - 9am to 4pm
NEW YEARS DAY - CLOSED
THURSDAY 2nd January 2025 onwards - Normal hours resume...

​In the event of an ‘Out Of Hours’ emergency throughout the Christmas & New Year period, please call the surgery on the usual number: 0115 9417894.
Your call will automatically be diverted to the VetsNow Emergency Operator who will give you further advice.
