Castle Veterinary Centre continues to offer veterinary advice & care for pets within an environment that is safe for clients, their animals & our staff. Post Covid, we no longer require clients to wear face masks on our premises. However, if you would prefer staff to wear a mask during your consultation please let us know at reception on arrival.

If you are suffering from any potentially contagious respiratory infection we would kindly ask that you wear a mask for the safety of everyone - one can be provided free of charge if required.

PPE
Full disposable PPE* is worn for each client and when handling pets to reduce the risk of cross infection and ensure the safety of both staff and clients.

Face shields and/or face masks are also worn by all staff on the premises to help in the fight against Covid19 cross infection. Our use of PPE and cleaning protocols in between clients helps us to remain 'COVID SECURE', for 'front of house' staff and also our staff behind the scenes in the working areas of the practice.

At the end of each consultation, single use PPE is disposed of appropriately and a new set is worn for the next appointment.

*Disposable gowns and gloves may differ in style and colour due to supply chain issues, this in no way has any detrimental effect on the effectiveness of the PPE worn.
