Castle Veterinary Centre continues to offer veterinary advice & care for pets within an environment that is safe for clients, their animals & our staff. Post Covid, we no longer require clients to wear face masks on our premises. However, if you would prefer staff to wear a mask during your consultation please let us know at reception on arrival.

If you are suffering from any potentially contagious respiratory infection we would kindly ask that you wear a mask for the safety of everyone - one can be provided free of charge if required.

Waiting Area / Reception

On arrival at the practice, you will find some changes from your pre-Covid19 visits.
In order to maintain bio-security, and remain 'Covid Secure', we are limiting clients to 1 person per appointment. To protect your pet without putting clients or staff at risk, we now only offer ‘socially distanced/minimum contact’ appointments unless or until the current situation changes. All appointments / examinations are now carried out ‘client remote’ - your pet will be examined by the vet without you present.
All clients are requested to wait in the bay window marked seating area in reception (mage 1 below), & the vet will return to speak with you, socially distanced & wearing PPE, with any clinical findings, from the doorway of consulting room 1 (image 2 below).

In order to help us minimise the risk of cross infection, please ensure that hand sanitiser is used each time you enter the practice, and we do ask that you leave your face mask/covering on when on the premises or when speaking to any member of our team.
